Improve rear-end stability, cornering grip, and overall handling balance with the Tanabe Rear Sway Bar for the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ — a proven upgrade for spirited driving, canyon runs, autocross, and track use.
Engineered specifically for the 2012–2014 Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ , this high-rigidity sway bar reduces body roll and enhances rotational control through corners. Tanabe’s precision tuning helps tighten the chassis without sacrificing daily comfort, making it a perfect upgrade for both performance enthusiasts and street drivers looking for a sharper, more responsive feel.
With improved grip and flatter cornering, the FR-S/BRZ platform becomes even more balanced and predictable — unlocking its full handling potential.
Key Features
High-strength rear sway bar for reduced body roll
Improves rear stability and enhances mid-corner traction
Sharpens handling and improves steering feedback
Direct bolt-on installation using factory mounts
Premium Tanabe engineering for long-lasting durability
Perfect for daily driving, canyon carving, autocross, and track events
Why Upgrade? A stiffer rear sway bar helps the car rotate more predictably through corners, giving the FR-S/BRZ platform the tight, controlled feel it’s known for. Expect improved handling balance, reduced understeer, and more confident high-speed cornering.
